Privacy

TryOn is a service from Mgeeaar that gives optical shops a try-on shop page. This page explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect from shop owners and staff
- Name, email address and login details, to let you sign in.
- Shop details you enter: shop name, city, logo, colours and WhatsApp number.
- Your frames: photos, names, sizes, prices and offers.
- Plan and billing status, and notes our team keeps to support your shop.
What we collect from customers
- Customers do not create an account and we do not ask for their name or phone number.
- The camera picture used for the live try-on stays on the customer's phone. It is not uploaded while they try frames on.
- When a customer sends an order, price request or question, we save the frame, colour and price they chose, and the try-on photo taken for that request, so the shop can see how the frame looked.
- Simple usage counts, such as which frames were tried, so the shop can see what is popular. These are not linked to a person.
Try-on photos
A try-on photo is shared only with the shop the customer sent it to, through a private link. It is never public and never used for anything else. Try-on photos are deleted 30 days after they were sent.
Orders and questions open in the customer's own WhatsApp and go straight to the shop. The messages themselves are handled by WhatsApp, not by TryOn.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data. We use trusted providers to run the service, such as cloud hosting and storage, and only share what they need to do that job.
Your choices
Shop owners can ask us to export or delete their shop's data at any time. Customers can ask the shop, or us, to delete a try-on photo early.
